CLEANER
12.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 3.00-5.30 pm
Term-time + 50 hours to be worked during school holidays
Grade 4, Point 6.
Full time annual salary – £25,822. Actual salary: £8,040.66
Permanent – commencing as soon as possible
We are looking for a hardworking, dependable and flexible cleaner to join our small and friendly team. This role is important in ensuring that our school is a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for students and staff. Key responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting of classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
- Comply with all relevant health & safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used and stored safely and stocks are replenished, as required
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
- Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the cleaning supervisor/facilities manager.
We are looking for someone who:
- Understands the importance of maintaining hygiene and safety in environments with children
- Can work efficiently, independently and takes pride in high standards
- Is physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, lifting and bending
- Ideally has experience in a similar setting, although training will be provided.
