📅 Thursday 5 February | Year 9 Progress & Options Evening
We will be holding our Year 9 Progress Evening, giving parents, carers and students the opportunity to discuss progress in individual subjects with teaching staff. Please note the booking system for appointments has now closed.
On the same evening, we will also be hosting our Options Evening, where students and parents can explore GCSE subject choices. Information will be available that explains what each course involves, what students can expect, and the opportunities each option offers, as well as to answer questions and provide guidance to support informed decision-making.
We look forward to welcoming you for an informative and valuable evening.
Parents and carers, don’t forget the school aged immunisation service is coming to school on Friday 6 February 2026 to offer young people in year 8 the chance to have the HPV vaccine.
Make sure you fill out the online consent decision form that has been sent to your email address or phone.
If you need help or have questions you can call the service on: 0300 3000 007.
More information about the vaccine can also be found on: https://lptnhs.com/schoolHPVinfo
Congratulations to our students with the best attendance last week! We see the effort, and it matters 👏🔥
📖 BOOK CLUB WRAP-UP! 📖
We just turned the final page of Until the Road Ends by Phil Earle, and wow… our hearts are still recovering! 🐾💔
Set against the backdrop of the Blitz in WWII, this story follows the incredible journey of Beau the dog, Peggy the cat, and Mabel the pigeon. It was a true emotional rollercoaster that sparked so many deep conversations about loyalty, survival, and the unsung heroes of the war.
We laughed, we definitely cried, and we discussed any of those "talking point" moments!
✨ What’s next? We are currently on the hunt for our next great read! Have you read anything lately that you couldn`t put down?
👇 Want to join us? We’re always looking for new faces. If you love books and great chats, come along to our next meeting! ☕️📚
