Dear Families and Carers of Year 11 Students,
Your child’s Autumn 2 Year 11 report is ready to view in the Arbor App. It provides a range of information to support conversations with your child and also at Year 11 Progress Evening on Thursday 11th December. If you have yet to book your appointments, please use the Arbor Portal to book appointments by 9am on Tuesday 9 December. If no timeslot is visible this is due to no appointments being available as they have already been taken.
We are proud of the effort and resilience Year 11 showed in their approach to the Pre-Public Exams in November and hope that they will have personal successes that they take away from the experience. The report on the Arbor App provides the following information:
- Attitude to learning – how your child is approaching their learning in terms of effort, organisation etc
- Target grade – the minimum grade your child should be aiming for
- Pre-Public Exam result – the grade your child achieved in their PPE exam
- Current Working at Grade – the grade that your child is currently working at, considering class work, homework, the stage of the course etc
- Likely Outcome Grade – the grade that the teacher thinks your child is likely to achieve at the end of the course if they continue to work in the same way.
Definitions of the categories for Attitude to Learning can be found below.
If you have a query regarding your child’s report, please contact their subject teacher or CREW leader.
Kind regards,
Sarah Nelson
Assistant Headteacher
