22:00 - due back at 22.30!
20:00 - quite a smooth drive back - expected back at about 22:30, traffic permitting.
17:29 - we are out of the tunnel - plan is to stop for food soon and change drivers at Northampton for the final leg of the journey
15:45 - just outside Calais - are planning to make a stop once in England to change drivers.

11:30 - finished buying ingredients for lunch at the market in Evron and heading back to the chateau to prepare lunch - off to Bagnoles this afternoon to interview the locals.

12 noon - just finished in the panoramic cinema in Arranches for the D-Day memorial - heading to the beaches, the battery and the cemetery now - visiting Bayeux this afternoon.

12 noon - town trail round Ambrieres done - having a picnic then heading to Mont Saint Michel.
09:00 - at the bakery in Ambrieres making croissants and learning how baguettes are made.

17:00 - arrived safely at the chateau after a lovely journey - having a tour of the site now and dinner at 19:30.
13:00 - stopped off in Honfleur for a coffee in the sun by the harbour.
09:00 - just arrived in Calais - beautiful sunny weather after a smooth crossing.
